SNEB Décolletage

SNEB masters micro-turning for extreme precision

SNEB Décolletage : Excellence in Precision Machining Since 1965

Since its establishment in 1965 in Scionzier, in the heart of the bar turning valley in Haute-Savoie, SNEB Décolletage has constantly strengthened its expertise in the fields of bar turning and precision machining. Specializing in the handling of various materials, with diameters ranging from 0,5 mm to 21 mm, the company works with metals as well as plastics and other specific materials. Their know-how covers a wide range of techniques such as threading, burnishing, precision mechanics, micro-turning, knurling, as well as the assembly of assemblies and sub-assemblies. Recognized for its ability to meet the specific needs of its customers, SNEB is a key player, guaranteeing quality and precision thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, including Escomatic automatic lathes and numerically controlled (CNC) lathes.

Deepening of Sectors of Activity and Technical Expertise

The diversity of SNEB's production capabilities is mainly manifested through three main axes: micro-turning, CNC machining and plastic machining.

1. Micro-Cutting : This technique, ideal for the production of very small parts (from 0.5 mm to 6.5 mm), uses automatic Escomatic torch lathes to effectively meet the production needs of mechanical parts in series ranging from medium to very large, which can reach several million units. Micro-turning is crucial for industries requiring extreme precision such as watchmaking, electronics or medicine.

2. CNC machining : Using CNC and sliding headstock lathes, this specialty allows SNEB to manufacture precision mechanical parts with diameters varying from 2 mm to 21 mm. CNC machining is particularly suitable for small to medium series production, offering increased flexibility and competitiveness thanks to advanced automation and the reduction of manual interventions. Production is available in various formats, from Ø 2 mm to Ø 10 mm on sliding headstock lathes, and up to Ø 21 mm on CNC lathes.

3. Plastics Machining : Specializing in the machining of plastic materials such as POM (Ercétal), PA6.6 (Nylon), PEEK and PEHD, SNEB deploys numerically controlled machines to produce parts in small and medium series. Plastics machining at SNEB includes additional procedures such as sandblasting or deburring to perfect the surface condition of the parts produced, essential in sectors such as medical or household appliances where finishing is crucial.

Served Industries, Machined Materials and Qualitative Commitment

SNEB serves an impressive variety of industry sectors, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical and telecommunications. This diversity demonstrates the versatility and adaptability of their production processes. The materials machined by SNEB are just as varied, including alloy steels, stainless steels, light alloys such as aluminum, as well as thermoplastic materials of all kinds.

SNEB's commitment to quality is certified by ISO 9001:2015, ensuring rigorous quality management at all stages of production. This certification is not only an indicator of reliability but also a central pillar of SNEB's strategy to meet the strict requirements of its customers and maintain competitiveness in global markets. Their ambition is clear: to offer maximum responsiveness, honor high quality standards and continue to innovate while preserving the environment.
